Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) demonstrates a strong institutional commitment to environmental sustainability through the establishment of the Pusat Penelitian Lingkungan Hidup (PPLH) under LPPM UNS, a dedicated research center specializing in environmental research, education, and community engagement.
PPLH UNS is formally accredited with an “A” rating by the Indonesian Ministry of Environment, reflecting its high level of expertise and credibility in environmental governance and sustainability practices. The center plays a strategic role in advancing sustainable development, particularly through a watershed-based (Daerah Aliran Sungai/DAS) approach that integrates ecological, social, and economic dimensions.
Dedicated Staffing (FTE)
PPLH UNS is supported by dedicated full-time equivalent (FTE) staff, consisting of qualified academics, researchers, and technical professionals specializing in environmental science and management. These personnel are actively engaged in the center’s core functions, including research, consultancy, training delivery, and community service.
