Faculty of Agriculte Sebelas Maret University Inaugurates Teaching Farm Closed House in Jatikuwung, Karanganyar
The Teaching Farm Closed House was inaugurated by the Faculty of Agriculture in Jatikuwung, Karanganyar on Wednesday 6 October 2021 attended by the President Director of PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk, Dr. Hc. Tjiu Thomas Effendy, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture UNS, Prof. Samanhudi, Regent of Karanganyar, Drs. Juliyatmono, M.M., Deputy Chancellor of Research and Innovation UNS, Prof. Kuncoro Diharjo, Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Ahmad Yunus, and the Vice Chancellor for Cooperation, Business and Information, Prof. Sajidan. This activity is in the form of cutting ribbons and signing inscriptions. This modern chicken coop is a grant from PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk which can be set up automatically. This is expected to provide benefits in improving the competence of lecturers and students. Whether through practicum, research, internship or other learning processes
Drs. Juliyatmono as the Regent of Karanganyar appreciated the cooperation between PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk and UNS. He also hopes that this farm closed house can give birth to prospective entrepreneurs in the world of animal husbandry and can be used as a means of Independent Learning on the Independent Campus and can increase the competence of Animal Husbandry Study Program graduates who are ready to work.
